Our Booster Club exists solely to support the program, including the coaching staff and athletes of the Hebron Cross Country and Hebron Track & Field teams. In line with LISD Booster Club guidelines, the club is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents from both teams, and our key activities include:
- Financial Administration: we oversee the Club bank account made up of athlete participation fees and any donations from fundraisers, sponsors and foundations. In consultation with Coach Edwards, we develop and administer an annual budget to fund program needs including meet entry fees, training gear, equipment, uniforms, team banquets, travel, and more.
- Communication Resources: we manage several tools to keep our team community up-to-date on relevant information, including our newsletter, website, Team App and social media.
- Volunteers: we organize volunteers to assist at team events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully and showcase our program in the best light.
- Fundraising & Sponsorships: we organize and execute team fundraisers, such as our annual SquadFunds fundraiser, and pursue corporate sponsorships and foundation grants to help fund the program.
The Board meets each moth to conduct its monthly business, and our meetings are open to team parents and/or athletes.
